Day Spas in Adelaide: An Honest Local Guide
Adelaide has plenty of good day spas. The right one depends on what you want from the visit: a quick facial near work, a long afternoon with a friend, a float, a sauna or a drive into the Hills.

Swiss Wellness
A natural day spa since 2005, using Adelaide Hills Organics skincare in our facials and treatments. We offer massage, facials, body treatments and packages, with free parking behind the spa. Massages and facials start at $120.

- The products. Ask what goes on your skin and whether it is natural or synthetic.
- The therapist. A good one asks questions first and adjusts the pressure as they go.
- The setting. Some people want a quiet suburban spa. Others want a city bathhouse or a retreat in the Hills.
- Clear pricing. The full price should be on the menu before you book.

Describes itself as Adelaide's newest luxury day spa, offering massage, facials and wellness treatments.
Good for: massage and facials in the west end of the city
BODHI Spa at Eos by SkyCity

Good for: pairing a spa visit with a night out or a hotel stay
Mineral Bathhouse
No massage on their menu. A 90 minute bathhouse session is $65 on weekdays. Taken from their own website on 5 Oct 2026.
A bathhouse rather than a treatment spa. Sessions run for 90 minutes, with infrared and traditional saunas, a hammam, a mineral pool, a plunge pool and a salt room.
Good for: heat and cold bathing at your own pace

How to choose
Start with where you will be that day and how you want to feel afterwards. For a treatment near work, the city spas are the easiest. For heat and bathing, try a bathhouse. For a float, Blue Lagoon is in Hyde Park. For a day in the Hills, Hahndorf is about 25 km out.

How far ahead should I book a day spa?
Weekends and couples treatments fill first, so booking a few days ahead is a good idea. Weekday appointments are usually easier to get.
What should I wear to a day spa?
Wear whatever you are comfortable in. You will change into a robe or towel for your treatment. Arrive 15 minutes early so you can settle in.
Can I visit a day spa while pregnant?
Yes, but not every spa offers pregnancy treatments, so check first. At Swiss Wellness pregnancy massage is available after 12 weeks. Check with your healthcare provider before booking.
